Guide a fawn and a wolf cub through snowy environments, solve puzzles and tackle the storm.

In “Blanc”, you take control of a fawn and find yourself in the middle of a snowstorm. As you wander through the winter landscape, you come across a little wolf cub. After getting to know each other, you join forces and set off to find your families by following footprints left behind in the snow. The story is about an unusual friendship forming through a shared fate, and is purely told via the game’s visuals and soundtrack with occasional (textless) cutscenes.

In terms of gameplay, “Blanc” is relatively light. Of course, you have to combine your skills to solve puzzles. For example, the wolf cub can crawl into narrow corridors while the fawn pushes open a heavy door. However, there are also sections where you simply move forward (against a headwind). “Blanc” doesn't offer any particularly challenging puzzles. This game is more about the shared experience. As the saying goes: the journey is the reward.

“Blanc” is a beautiful and refreshingly slow-paced co-op adventure. It’s well suited for couples or good friends who want to enjoy a relaxed evening on the couch. We recommend to buy this game on sale, though, as it can be completed in less than two hours and there’s basically no replay value.
